Hi Everyone. Prior to starting our Group of Seven Cardmakers blog, our group kept in touch during Covid and started trying out new and (revised) older techniques. We are including them as a reference for those that are interesting in trying them out.

October 2022
- Black or dark watercolour or mixed media paper
- Image (mix of line and solid images works best), sentiment stamp
- Ink (Versamark, pigment ink
- Metallic embossing powder
- Heat tool
- Metallic or Pearl paints that work on dark card (FineTec, gouache, etc.)
- Watercolour brushes
Technique Instructions:
Following the video above ...
- Stamp image and sentiment onto dark card and heat emboss in metallic.
- Watercolour images using paints.
- Add in extra details to image with brush strokes, dots, etc. (as per video).
- Splatter with paint to finish.
* For Christmas cards, add snow and splatter with white
