This month we are showcasing Ombré as our latest Design Element.
Ombré meaning: (literally "shaded" in French)
"is the blendng of one colour hue to another,
usually moving tints and shades from light to dark"

How to Create Ombre Cards - 2 Ways by My Favorite Things (5:33)
Ombre Stamping with Solid Images by Mindy Eggen Designs (14:30) - Ombre stamping first 8 min.
Technique Instructions:
- Create Ombré backgrounds by sponging with ink or watercolouring.
- Create Ombré stamping by adding shades of the came colour to a silhouette image.
- Die-cut several images in shades of one colour of card stock and off-set them from light to dark.
- Sponge through a stencil to create an effective Ombré background or main image for your card.
