Hi Everyone. Prior to starting our Group of Seven Cardmakers blog, our group kept in touch during Covid and started trying out new and (revised) older techniques. We are including them as a reference for those that are interesting in trying them out.

June 2021
Supplies:
- Stencil
- Various mediums (Embossing Paste, Embossing Gel, Nuvo Drops, etc.)
- Palette Knife
- Background card (any white or coloured card stock or background made with inks / paints)
- Masking, removeable, or washi tape
Technique Instructions:
- Secure background with tape (underside) to solid / hard surface, especially if background or stencil is not flat
- Place stencil over top and secure with more tape
- Use palette knife to lift paste from jar. Place at top of stencil. Spread downwards until stencil (or area of stencil) is completely covered. Do not over-work the paste. With palette knife or stencil pal on 45 degree angle, lightly go over paste to remove any excess, leaving a smooth coat. Return excess paste to jar.
- Remove stencil, please in container of water or wash right away before paste hardens.
- Let card dry before making into a card.
